This lily is definitely one of a kind. Its name means "Glory of Temple-sur-Lot" in French. Temple-sur-Lot is the name of the little hamlet in the south of France on the river Lot where Bory Latour-Marliac created this lily, and many of the other hybrids we sell, at the end of the 19th century. Gloire du Temple-sur-Lot has very large blooms over large green pads, and the flowers have a slight tinge of pink to them. |
