PUsing the Water Lily Directory
pf
This directory is intended to help water gardeners find just the right water lily. We have assembled what amounts to THE largest online catalog of purchasable water lilies, and our goal is to list 200 varieties. Beyond providing our users with convenience and choice, the directory is also intended to make it more efficient to source specific varieties by listing multiple growers for each lily.

Here's how we recommend you use the Blithestone Water Lily Directory:

e
1) Make a list. If you are after a specific lily, then note all the growers who should have it and go down the list.
e
2) Think about shipping cost. If you want to save on shipping costs, order all your lilies from one nursery, and start by buying from the nursery closest to you (not the one in the wrong hemisphere!).
e
3) Be clear about substitutions. A grower may not be able to tell you about availability with 100% certainty until they get to the field, so if you really want a specific variety, ask them to contact you if they don't have it so you can look elsewhere.
e
4) Confirm all purchase details with the grower. Most lilies will cost between $15.00 and $40.00 each, with shipping usually extra.
e
5) Don't forget fertilizer tabs and pots. Ask the grower how many tablets and what size pots they recommend you purchase.
e
6) Think in threes. To get the best effect in the garden, clump your lilies. Water lilies are like many perennials in that they are best planted in like groups of at least three.
e
7) Mention Blithestone!
