POur Water Lily Growers
pf
The growers you see below are the ones we can vouch for, either because we have worked with them for years, or because we are familiar with their operations. All of them are passionate about water lilies, ship only the healthiest plants, are consumer-oriented (as opposed to mainly distributor-oriented), and work very hard at what they do.

Our water lily growers do not pay to be listed in the Blithestone Water Lily Directory. We list them here as a service to our users, who we hope will click on some of our paid advertisements!

We are currently listing five growers: Nelson Water Gardens in Katy, TX; Perry's Water Gardens in Franklin, NC; Maryland Aquatic Nurseries in Jarretsville, MD; Latour-Marliac in Le Temple sur Lot, France; and Wright's Water Gardens in Pukekohe, NZ. A profile of each is below, along with their contact information and a link to their web site.

Located in the southwest of France and in continuous operation since 1875, Latour-Marliac is the nursery from which most of the water lilies on the market today originated. With over 200 water lily varieties for sale, their collection is second to none, and the National Water Lily Collection of France is housed there. Robert Sheldon acquired the company in 2007 and is restoring the property while building up the company's mail order business.
